Feature extraction workflow of six multiplexed whole-neuron datasets. In total 890 synapses are segmented from a 16-plex overlay of synaptic proteins. The localizations in the segmented synapses are analyzed as 3D histograms and DBSCAN spatial clustering for parameter extraction, resulting in 1590 features per synapse.
