Workflow from Scientific Research

Analysis of human haplotypes shows that the RGPD6 locus is largely fixed among all humans but that the organization of the flanking SDs differs significantly. We identify 11 distinct structural haplotypes in the human population, predicting both disease susceptibility as well as protective haplotypes for nonallelic homologous recombination (NAHR).
