Unit-cell-averaged structure of (r) averaged over all the regions shown in Fig. 3a where N < –5 meV. Virtually identical phenomena as in c, but rotated by 90. The difference between c and d is the difference in the internal structure of the CuO2 unit cell in the two distinct Ising domains of orbital order. Unprocessed high-voltage dI/dV images directly reveal the subtending data( Methods and Extended Data Fig. 6 ).
