The vegetation model FLORA uses SCION parameters to calculate the global distribution of biomass for each SCION timestep (k). Once FLORA reaches steady-state biomass (<1% change between the current and next biomass calculation), NPP is used to calculate weathering enhancement rates in SCION, and total vegetation biomass is used to calculate organic carbon (C org burial) in SCION.
