Measured inverse relaxation time T 1 −1 as a function of B and B . Circles of different colours at the same magnetic field correspond to different relaxation channels controlled by changing the amplitude of Load and Read pulses. Data points are presented as mean values ± the s.d. of the calculated T 1 ( Methods ). Some error bars are smaller than the symbol size of the data point. The inset shows the energy spectrum of a single carrier in the BLG QD plotted as a function of in-plane and out-of-plane magnetic fields.
