CD45.1 congenic, TCR-transgenic P14 (10 3 ) T cells were transferred into C57BL/6 hosts, which were then infected with LCMV Armstrong. CD44 + KLRG1 - PD-1 hi and PD-1 lo populations were selected and analysed for TCF1 and TOX expression seven days after infection.
