Schematic of the labeling approach. Anesthetized mice were injected retro-orbitally with 100 l of 1 mM Rhobo6 in PBS containing 10% DMSO, which corresponds to 100 nmol of Rhobo6, or 3.5 mg kg 1 body weight for a 20 g mouse. Mice were allowed to recover for 30 min on a warming pad, and were then euthanized by cervical dislocation. Live tissues were collected, placed on a glass-bottom dish, and imaged within 2 h of dissection.
