Autoradiography of 20 µm slices of the lung. The radioactivity was monitored for each slice and the autoradiography carried out on the ‘hot’ slice and the two slices adjacent to it. Radioactive signal, represented in black within the tissue slices, above background was only found in the ‘hot’ slice.
